Ventalu is fully automatic in operation
with no manual switches etc. to worry about. The small, quiet but highly
efficient 12 volt fan contained within the unit is activated by P.I.R.
detection of a person in the immediate vicinity of the W.C.
Once running, the fan creates an air flow primarily across the top of the W.C. bowl and out through the venturi ducting incorporated into the seat and cover hinge mechanism. From here unpleasant odours via the fan, exhaust either to the outside air, existing ducting system or foul air outlet.
Quite simply the odours are removed at source before they dissipate out of the W.C. pan and into the room where their unpleasant presence is all too evident before eventual dispersion via natural or forced extraction. All electronics satisfy safety, C.E. and L.V.D. requirements.
